Postgraduate Studies Gender and Sexuality

Hello my name is Mario and today I'm going to talk about Postgraduate Studies.

In the faculty of social sciences there are many options to study a postgraduate degree, among them there is one that I like a lot and is related to the topic of Gender and Sexuality, which is found in social work options, specifically in the Department of Social Sciences. gender of the race.

Although I like this topic, not necessarily my only option is to study this in our faculty, because there is also in other universities the option of studying the themes of gender and sexuality at present within the Chilean society. I think that in Chile there is great potential on this subject, I would like to study something related because I think it can be a contribution to thinking about social problems from another perspective, where thematic of invisibility, discrimination, etc.

I would like to study this topic in Chile or in Brazil, where there are also other schools that have deepened the subject. I would like to learn this part-time, or not all day, this because I also think about working and studying, so studying a postgraduate course should adapt to my times, I think my family would support me in these studies and I think that It would help to have new horizons for my own academic and professional education.

Hi my name is Mario and today will talk about my future Job

I study social work, I see my future as a qualified professional but living on the lease of departments or other means, but working for free in foundations or social organizations, I think it is a long-term plan but in any case my plan is related

I have been told that my plan is of crazy people, or that "I have my head turned"(like the picture), but I am sure I will get it, live by other means, but exercise Social Work for free. I would like to work in the jail or prison area, that topic interests me a lot, although I am not yet fully prepared, I think it is a topic that in Chile has been forgotten or also not worked with the depth it needs.
Social work is a profession that has many places to work, and in prison issues, it is a place where there is much to work. I think it is important to be able to work on prison issues because some years ago in Chile, we have forgotten to go deeper into the interventions on this topic, I do not think it is dangerous or stressful because I believe that if you work on a topic that motivates you, it does not become dense.

Hi, my name is Mario and today I'm going to talk about the TED video, called How to be "Team Human" in the digital future.

                                     

I believe that technology today makes us win many things, such as connectivity, accessibility to information, speed of everything, etc., but also technology makes us lose other things that are related to daily human dynamics, more symbolic things such as contact with other humans, with the family, or prefer to leave before being with the cell phone.

The technology is very good as a tool of life, clearly if I compare the current life with the one lived a few years ago, the current life is much simpler, but the technology I think is good if used responsibly, is so the excessive use of technology by each person can be harmful to the emotional integrity of people, issues such as depression, loneliness or others have been enhanced by the isolation caused by the excessive use of technology. I think technology is very useful, it is a very pleasant Era to live, but I think that its use should be taken with maturity, especially for the new generations.

Hi my name is Mario and today i will talk about my carrer.

I chose to study Social Work because when I went to school, I had a very important teacher in my life, this teacher was called Johnny Canales (with my friends we call him "El Sabio").

He was social worked and teacher of history. He not only talked about the subject of the class (First word war or the dictatorship in Chile of the year 1973), but also talked about the live, the society, culture, inequalities in the society and how this relates to the pending tasks of social work.

Johnny he inspires me still. He made me love social work. But ¿Why I study Social work in the University of Chile? 

 I chosse study Social Work in the University because I liked the mesh very much, I already knew what the Carrera consisted of a bit, but with the mesh I fell in love. I think that social work is a tool for society, I believe that my career can be a contribution to social transformations, as my teacher Johnny told me, the social work career is a journey of no return :).

 I really like my career.

Europeeeeee

Hi. My name is Mario and I would like to know and visit Europe.
I would like o visit many cities and places that are important for the history of the world. I think it's necessary to have a lot of money, but it's worth it. Trips to Europe are now cheaper than a few years ago.

I would go to Europe out of curiosity, maybe even to fall in love, but what I most want to visit in Europe are the most famous places in the countries there. The museums also call my attention, I think I have to raise a lot of money to be able to go quietly.

My sister went to Italy in February 2018, and she fell in love with that country. I feel it is a personal goal to travel to those countries with such tradition and culture.

The Best Holiday. National park of Chile in Chiloe

Hi. My name is Mario and today i am talking about a place i loved and visited some time ago, National Park of Chile in Chiloe. 

I'm remember visit the National Park of the Chiloe City with my family. I loved the animal's, because the   nature space is very beautiful, the colors, the scent´s, the flowers, the rural landscape, all. 

Usually I was with my sister, Vivian, we explorer all the park. I'm remember my day to day with many activity's in the park and the close to the park. I´m remember eat Chapalele and Curanto (the traditional food in Chiloe), but i don´t remember many beacuse I went many party's traditional's with my sister, i lost my dignity for fault of the Chicha because i don´t remember much more. 

The National Park of the Chiloe City is private :( , so the money is very import and the ticket is worth ($5.000 each one). The Park is big and beautiful, but it is an expensive park. I was able to talk to many strangers in the area, I´m remember the Mrs. Juan Carlos or Guillermo, fisherman's the Chiloe.
